Note: As of AGP 9.0.0-beta01, setting android.enableLegacyVariantApi=true will throw the following error

> Failed to apply plugin 'com.android.internal.application'.
   > com.android.builder.errors.EvalIssueException: The option 'android.enableLegacyVariantApi' is deprecated.
     The current default is 'false'.
     It was removed in version 9.0 of the Android Gradle plugin.
     The android.enableLegacyVariantApi property has no effect, use android.newDsl instead
